Winners of Our Third Annual Right Choice Award
Congratulations to Arnot Ogden Medical Center, based in Elmira, NY, for winning first place in our third annual Right Choice Award competition!
With the use of DFM's Point-of-Sale and Back Office system, Arnot Ogden Medical Center is able to track sales, change prices, update menus, send bills and manage payroll deductions, bringing ease to their cafeteria maintenance.
Arnot attributes DFM's customer service as one of the key elements to the success they have achieved. Congratulations to our 2nd place winner Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, Thibodaux, LA, who showcased their success with DFM's Diet Office, Room Service and Point-of-Sale modules.
With the implementation of Diet Office and Room Service automation, Thibodaux was able to cut diet office labor by half a FTE through the use of the spoken menu with tablet PC's at the patient's bedside.
However, the most significant impact DFM has had on their operation is the reduction of time spent in the diet office and their increased accuracy of trays. Also, DFM's payroll deduction feature has given their staff the ability to charge their meals, resulting in an increase in sales of 13%. DFM's payroll deduction has also resulted in a reduction of fees paid to credit card companies by 45%, contributing to the overall effectiveness of their new retail operations.
With DFM's flexible system, Thibodaux is looking forward to expanding room service facility wide in the near future. The ability of DFM to customize their services to meet the needs of the hospital was the deciding factor for Thibodaux to go with DFM's products and services, and with this testimony, DFM has proven to have been the Right Choice!
